Baseband Design Engineer – Cambs

Hardware Design to help develop a new range of GSM and 3G Base Stations. You should have a good engineering degree with at least 5 years experience of hands-on analogue and digital circuit and system design. Thorough understanding of basic electronics to device level and experience of circuit simulation software. Practical experience and demonstrable understanding of the following fields:
High speed A/D and D/A conversion
Analogue design
Linear and switch-mode PSU design
Microprocessor, PIC, FPGA design, VHDL
Experience in EMC and UL approval and testing.

A knowledge of GSM and 3G technologies would also be a strong advantage.
